The International Space University's 15th annual Space Studies Program (SSP15) is being held this year at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and includes a number of public events that may be of interest to collectSPACE readers, including: - June 11, 2015, 8.30pm to 10pm
"The Hubble Space Telescope" Distinguished Lecture by Jeff Hoffman (NASA Astronaut, MIT Professor) - June 17, 2015, 8.30pm to 11pm
International Astronaut PanelISU participants and the public will have the opportunity to interact with this outstanding group of spaceflight veterans who represent over 40 years of international spaceflight experience on most every vehicle that has taken humans into space. Featuring: Jack Schmitt, Sergei Krikalev, Paolo Nespoli and Bob Thirsk - June 25, 2015, 8.30pm to 10.30pm
"John Kennedy, Richard Nixon, and the American Space Program" Distinguished Lecture by John Logsdon (George Washington University) - June 29, 2015, 8.30pm to 11pm
The Future of Human Spaceflight Panel with Kathy Laurini, Jean-Jacques Favier and David Kendall - June 30, 2015; 8.30pm to 10pm

I am planning on attending the International Astronaut Panel on June 17. I am really hoping to meet Dr. Schmitt and get a photo taken with him. Do you guys think this will be possible? I tried to contact the organizers but the email address was bad. Thanks! | |
