NASA astronaut Chris Ferguson, commander of the final space shuttle mission, will be David Letterman's guest on CBS's Late Show on Thursday, August 4.

Chris Ferguson taped his segment for Thursday's show yesterday afternoon. His tweet:

"Fans" was NASA's description for the photo. I'm sure Chris Ferguson knew exactly why they were there.

Not saying it's the same person - but a Ferguson SP was on eBay the day after his taping, with an asking opening bid of $125.
