Not sure if anyone had heard this. It is so sad. I believe her mother died not too long ago as well. The link to the article regarding the accident is: http://www.star-gazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060228/NEWS01/60228001 |

Very Sad Indeed. Nobody deserves to die like this. We all need to be careful when we drive and when we cross the Road. - Zee |

I knew James well and one of the many things I can say about him is that he used to absolutely beam when discussing Eileen's accomplishments. He was an extremely private man. Not one of those who saught the limelight when his daughter was flying..I just spoke to Eileen and him on Sunday at the "Wings of Eagles" presentation. It was so nice to watch him in the background as the town honored Eileen with such a tremendous turnout..Pride was very apparent in his face. Eileen was already en-route back to Houston, and was advised of his accident upon arrival..of course she turned around and returned to Elmira ASAP. Godspeed to you Jim..... (Her Mom, Rose Marie did pass in November from natural causes..) [This message has been edited by John K. Rochester (edited March 01, 2006).] |
