My astronomy group, Skyscrapers Incorporated, the Amateur Astronomical Society of Rhode Island hosted our annual event called Astro Assembly this past weekend. We were honored to have as our keynote speaker Story Musgrave, and what a terrific weekend it was. On Saturday evening we presented a painting to Musgrave that artist Ed Hengeveld was kind enough to do for us. As you can see by the expression on his face, Story was overwhelmed by it! Ed, you're a great guy and a fantastic artist! I've tried to reach you numerous times through email but I have not had any success. I need your mailing address so I can ship some goodies out to you ... try my work email at DLorraine@twec.com and thanks Ed for putting the finishing touches on a great evening program! More photos from the event can be seen on our website at www.theskyscrapers.org Dan |

Wow! Look at Story's facial expression in the first photo--- he's in complete awe! That photo says it all!! What a great shot.Dan, thanks for posting these for everyone here, and also on your website. And Ed, your paintings just get more and more awesome, if that's even possible! Thanks for sharing with us all. | |
