Don't you just love lots of notice of a forthcoming event. Any UK members able to change their plans for tomorrow?

A Newsletter from the National Space Centre in Leicester has just arrived containing the following information.

"On Saturday 23rd April, Jack Bacon (OM5 Viper Team), Systems Integration Engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center, will be visiting the National Space Centre.

Jack is an expert in spacecraft integration, and aerospace systems architectures. He works as systems integration lead on numerous Russian and American spacecraft, including the Zarya, the first element and bridge module of the International Space Station.

Throughout the day Jack will be giving presentations on topics such as the ISS, Soyuz in flight, engineering in orbit and the much-awaited NASA return to flight.

A special evening event has also been added offering you a chance to meet Jack and listen to his latest presentation, 'History in the Making'. Tickets are limited and cost just £5 (£4 for Season Ticket Holders). The ticket price includes a glass of wine and selection of nibbles. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Bookings Team on 0116 258 2111."

I wish this event was Sunday. Unfortunately a 'conflict of interest' requires me to be elsewhere tomorrow.

Best wishes
