Today the Cumberland, WI, high school gymnasium was the site of the NASA Explorer School Outreach Program. Numerous NASA personel were in attendance but none more spotlighted than NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe and NASA Astronaut Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper. The program was highlighted by speeches from Mr. O'Keefe and Ms. Stefanyshyn-Piper and a quick Q&A with the students. The entire program lasted almost 2 hours yet held the students interest from start to finish.
Cumberland High School is the only school district in Wisconsin being honored this year by NASA, and one of only fifty which are so honored in the entire nation.
