I rang Autographica as their website has stayed the same for months with no news of 2004.
They said no decision has been made about a show in the UK during spring 2004 but the next show would probably be in Coventry in the Autumn.
I said I was especially interested in the cosmonauts/astronauts and had been looking forward to meeting Charlie Duke in April / May. They said that was unlikely to happen.

Bummer!

But they have put on a great show for two or three years which I have to thank them for and I hope we do get an Autographica 2004 with a special space guest or two.

Hi,

They did sort of mention Mr Duke as a Guest...

I wonder who we can expect to see then ???

I hope Ed MItchell. or Alan Bean attend, it would be nice to meet them.

A bit of disappointing news that thou about Charlie Duke...

Regards,

Andrew

Good news about the show.

I've only been to Coventry twice. Once as a little boy in 1966 passing through on the way to a holiday in Devon.
The second time was in 2003 to go to Autographica.
1966 was a Saturday afternoon and England won the Football World Cup, in extra time, having been leading with a few minutes to go.
2003 was the weekend England won the Rugby World Cup, in extra time, having been in the lead in normal time with a few minutes to go.
Spooky coincidence or what? And I think Geoff Hurst and Wilkinson both had the same shirt number.
Anyone know if we could get the European Football Championships moved to October? Or maybe there is something else we are going to win?
