Mr. Pearlman , it was a pleasure to have met you in person at the aurora auction , i just wish that you were not so busy as i would have loved to pick your brain for a few minutes...anyway , thank you so very much for all your hard work and wealth of info on this great site , i for one have gotten both knowledge and a wealth of info provided by you from all the people on this site. My son and i would never have been able to find and meet all of the crew of AP11 if not for the info found on this site...so i wanted to give you THE greatest thank you for all your countless hours in front of your little computer screen , i for one, have been enriched tremendously because of your hard work. with regards , Eddie Braun

Thank you Eddie and Francis.

I am sorry Eddie, that we did not have more time to talk together at the auction. Eventually, I'll need to break down and hire someone to sit and record the hammer prices so that I can enjoy the auction atmosphere and audience. Until then, any "down time" between before and between the auction has me usually at least keeping half my attention on making sure everything on the site is ready and proceeding as it should. (If you guys only knew what I faced Sunday morning sitting at the back of the room, realizing my import of the catalog for that day had somehow only grabbed the even lots...)

It was quite inspiring to see the photographs of your son with the Apollo 11 crew. Its that type of passion for our space history that makes the work to produce this site not only well worth it, but quite enjoyable. I really appreciate your bringing your framed presentations to the auction to share with everyone and in particular, enjoyed hearing you describe your encounters with Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins.

All times are CT (US)
