I am very pleased to announce that collectSPACE has arranged for Mercury astronaut (Aurora 7) Scott Carpenter to be our guest at the UACC Convention and Autograph Show sponsored by Sims & Hankow Entertainment. Carpenter will sign copies of his book "Spacious Skies" for free if purchased from collectSPACE at the show. He will also sign photographs and memorabilia, and a fee schedule will be announced soon.
Of special note, the first day of the show, May 24, marks the 41st anniversary of the flight of Aurora 7.
In addition to Carpenter's appearance, the collectSPACE booth will also feature a selection of flown artifacts and space collectibles from our own consignment shop buySPACE.
Watch for further announcements -- we aren't done planning just yet...
