Writer, actor, and comedian Bill Dana aka Jose Jimenez aka "The 8th Mercury Astronaut" will be appearing at our show to sign autographs on either our photos or your personal memorabilia on both Saturday and Sunday. For any of you who may not know, Bill created "Jose the (reluctant) Astronaut" and made him a household word throughout the Mercury era. This of course, also made him an instant hit with the astronauts themselves who became fast friends with Bill and would often join him on stage for a chance to get into the act. He appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show a record breaking 18 times as Jose. In addition, Bill had his own hit show on NBC (The Bill Dana Show), was a head writer for Steve Allen, and along with Don Adams created the character known to millions as "Maxwell Smart" as well a portraying a variety of roles in movies and television.

Just a reminder, that we will have a great selection of 8x10 (and some 11x14) photos of our guests (including several GT-6 and GT-9 crew photos) available for a very reasonable $5 each. Hope to see many of you there!
