Space Consult release
Apollo Astronaut Walt Cunningham visits Europe's biggest exhibition for human spaceflight 'Apollo and Beyond' at Technik Museum Speyer, Germany

Space Consult and Technik Museum Speyer in cooperation with ArtifactCloud will be hosting a visit to Germany for the legendary astronaut.

85-year old Walt Cunningham is one of the last living space legends from the race to space and to the moon back in the 1960s. He will be the 8th Apollo astronaut and the 42nd astronaut/cosmonaut to visit the exhibition "Apollo and Beyond" at the Technik Museum Speyer since the grand opening on Oct. 2, 2008. This is going to be one of the highlights in the museum's history and we feel privileged Walt Cunningham has chosen us to spend some memorable days in Germany.

Honoring the 49th anniversary of Cunningham's Apollo 7 mission in October 1968 and the first manned flight of the Apollo program and the command and service module you can see and meet Walt Cunningham in-person:

Official public event Oct. 21, 2017 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. local time at the fantastic setting of "Apollo and Beyond" at the Technik Museum Speyer, Germany. Walt Cunningham will hold a lecture: "Apollo: Golden Age of Spaceflight," the unique historical accomplishment of landing a man on the moon back to the time of Magellan. After the lecture we will have a Q&A for the audience. Please kindly note there will be no autograph session or opportunity.

You only need a museum ticket to attend the lecture in the Forum of the museum. The lecture will be in English language with no translation into German.

Contact us directly for further information and terms about the lecture. The event is limited to only 350 people (available seats) in the Forum – first come first serve.

All times are CT (US)
