It was suggested that I share this cover with other collectors. This little gem I recently found in our Space Craft collection.
An article in the recent issue of the Astrophile had me take a look. I'm not sure how I ever missed it before. This points out the advantage of belonging to the Space Unit.
This cover is a Type C Fitzpatrick/Space Craft cover and was canceled on the USS Antietam, one of the Glenn back-up recovery ships. It is known that Fitzpatrick sent five covers to at least four of those ships. Now we know that a fifth was included and this is the only one known to still exist.

Nice cover find in your own collection!
Eddie Bizub has the other known USS Antietam SCC cover.
Since Joe Fitzpatrick was known to have sent out 5 covers to the various ships there is a chance I still might find one of the remaining ones for the USS Antietam (and of course the other ships I don't have)!

The cover appears to be a return to port date. Is it likely that all five SCC are post-mission?

Have seen scans of these SCC ships for Glenn so know the dates:
1/21/62 USS Holder
2/20/62 USS Damato
2/20/62 USS Robert Owens
2/27/62 USS Antietam
Note that USS Antietam was only actual secondary recovery ship for Glenn.
David, you are likely right on return to port date for USS Antietam.
Said to exist but I have never seen image of USS Randolph so no idea what date or if it really exists.
