Please help to understand. Is it onboard covers or not? On cover stamps of spacecraft "Salyut 7".

In my collection I have a cover very similar to the upper one. It is the same envelope with same board postmarks including the Indian with wrong date 38.34.84.

My cover has three signatures but no pentagonal seal of Salyut 7. Thus it most likely is an unflown souvenir cover.

The pentagonal seal was only used in the space station. However, fakes on unflown souvenir covers exist. Therefore, this seal would need careful examination — especially since there are no signatures on both covers.

All times are CT (US)
