As you'll see the early NASA vector patches and the Gemini crew and flown souvenir type patches remain extremely rare. You'll probably have to wait a few years to see an unflown example of any particular patch come up for auction.

At least one example of each of the Apollo crew patches has been offered in 2008 with the exception of the Apollo 15 silver and gold crew patches. Still, with only one or two examples appearing in a year the Apollo 1, 7, 8 and 9 patches remain extremely scarce. A few more examples of the crew patches from Apollo 10 onwards have surfaced but none of the patches can be considered common.
