I read recently that AB Emblem makes about 30,000 patches for each shuttle mission to be sold to the public. After they run out, would AB Emblem manufacture more or is that it in that particular run for a particular mission patch? For instance I know they made an additional 50,000 patches in 2003 right after the Columbia disaster because of the high demand, so the STS-107 patches that one would order from say either Galactic Voyager (which comes from AB Emblem) or AB Emblem the ones that were made in 2003? I know it's kind of like two separate questions but I want to see if anyone knew more about how it works. |

I suspect that only AB Emblem can answer if they have had the need to produce more STS-107 patches since 2003, but I would guess that they have.Per the company, none of their space shuttle mission patches are limited edition, thus they will continue to produce them so long as there is a market for them. | |
