Taiwan-based toy company Mivi has produced two new models of an Apollo moonwalker that is based on the iconic photo of Buzz Aldrin taken by Neil Armstrong during the Apollo 11 mission.

Well, I guess you had to be quick on the 1:6 scale figure as the link shows it is out of stock.

It is out of stock directly from Mivi, but some retailers still have it available or list it on pre-order (e.g. BigBadToyStore, though at more than the original retail).

As seems usual with models based on this photo, his legs are too short. The photo is foreshortened and Aldrin is standing in a bit of a depression leading to this impression in the image, but you can see from other photos (lunar and training) that he was not so "stumpy."
