I just finished a 1/24 model of Vostok 1 for the 50th anniversary of that flight. All comments and pictures available here. The model is based on the 1/24 Revell model although it is highly modified. |

That is a very impressive model involving a great deal of work. Your photography of the construction of this spacecraft is great.I have a question: Compared with the cost of the original Revell kit, what do you think is the market value of the completed Vostok 1? |

I worked on the model everyday from January 28th up to April 8th. I estimate to have spent about 100 to 130 hours on the model. I f I were paid to do this job, I would sell the model for about 3000 €. |

Fantastic! Amazing work. I especially appreciate the research you did on the Sharik sphere, which never seemed very conclusive before. Congratulations. |

Superb model, and great to see the Belgians (Tintin and his dog) in the display. |

Great model. Nice work, I ordered the revell- kit but I will not be able to make the kit as detailed as this one is. Good job! |
