Here's a few shots of my X-15A-2 and A-3 models built using original Topping X-15's to create the tooling masters.

Here's the Photobucket link to the Topping models including the LEM and the Mercury Capsule Escape Tower.

The LEM decals for the base are accurate reproductions of the NASA and Grumman logo's that are unique to rhat model. The NASA meatball is technically wrong because the letter's NASA are blue with white outlines. According to NASA, the letters should be solid white.

The Grumman logo is also different and has required a fair bit of time to get correct. The original decals were silkscreened directly onto the underside of the acrylic and coming up with a good way to replicate that was difficult but turned out to be be pretty simple.

All times are CT (US)
