Minifigs.me Chris Hadfield tribute LEGO minifigureMinifigs.me, which sells custom LEGO minifigures, has created a Chris Hadfield Tribute LEGO Minifig: When Chris Hadfield and his crew started their stay on the International Space Station, they went with the intent to make the most out of every second. They worked incredibly hard alongside researchers all across the world to make sure that the ISS taught us as much as possible. However, Chris Hadfield also reached out to the world in a way that brought us closer to his experience – and reminded us all of the excitement and wonder that can be found, if you look. We wanted to celebrate his safe return with a custom LEGO minifigure, complete with guitar so he can cover David Bowie's Space Oddity again. Yesterday's mail brought my own Hadfield tribute figure. I'm really impressed by the attention to detail, with (tiny!) Expedition 34 and Canadian Space Agency patches (not pictured but present, Hadfield's own mission patch design is on the minifigure's arm). |

Okay, being a LEGO lover and loving what Chris did, I had to order two... one for the little kid and one for the bigger "kid"! It will look good in his space shuttle. |

On a truly geeky note I have had "issues" with LEGO being inconsistent in scale through the years. For a truly accurate representation the shuttle cargo bay needs to be 60 studs long by 15 studs wide... |

LOL, I know, but that would be very expensive. |
