The Soyuz MS-21 crew did not wear the custom Omega Speedmaster strapped over the left forearm of their Sokol space suit. The last mission we noticed without an Omega Speedmaster chronograph in use was Soyuz MS-04 in April 2017.

Several photos show some type of gold toned watch on a white strap over the launch/entry suits. As for inside the ISS, Oleg Artemyev has on an Omega X-33 Skywalker that has mostly been flipped around to the bottom of his wrist (possibly accidentally?). Denis Matveev has been seen wearing an older Omega X-33 Gen 2 on a strap.
It’s quite a departure from the Russians proud displays of the Omega brand in the past.

Is it possible the cosmonauts are wearing the new Omega/Swatch collaborative watch that both companies have been sending out coordinated social media messages about over the past few days that is suppose to be released to the public on March 26th.

That Omega/Swatch collaboration is a strong possibility! I just caught the sneak previews yesterday. Good eye!

I asked my contact at Swatch about the watches worn by the Soyuz MS-21 crew and was told, "These are not the new Moonswatches."

Thanks Robert. A mystery still to be solved.
Other scant images appear to show the cases have a gold reflective surface.
