Recently I received an event indicator from a space shuttle aft station (RMS Operations). As I wanted to display and operate it, does anyone know, what electrical voltage is needed to operate this indicator?

I searched the web for this Rockwell indicator SD MC432-0222-0023, part no. 521566.

As I was told it displays the "barberpole" UP and DN and it should have been located on the RMS panel (see Image, below the Canada Sticker). Could this be?

Thanks for feedback and Ideas how to operate.

This indicator operates on 28 VDC. You can wire pins 1 and 3 to 28 VDC. If you switch pin 4 to ground, you get "DN". If you switch pin 2 to ground, you get "UP". With pins 4 and 2 both open, or both at ground, you get barber pole.

Pins are numbered clockwise starting at the top left, 1234.

Have some fun!

Indeed, that was quick! cS is really a good source of information and companionship.

What about the Amperes? Anyway, is there somewhere a kind of datasheet to find for this indicator? Does anyone know if this UP-DN Indicator really was located at the RMS panel? If so where exactly?

All times are CT (US)
