I am starting to restore a RS-18 engine I own. I am wanting to fabricate a skirt for my engine. I am needing to know how this was done.

I would love to know the company who made these for Rocketdyne.

The ablative thrust chamber was manufactured by the H.I. Thompson Fiber Glass Company (HITCO); it is still in business as the HITCO Carbon Composites, Inc.

Bell also evaluated thrust chambers from AVCO (maker of the Command Module ablative heat shield material) and Tapco.

I am in the process of restoring an Apollo RS-18 Ascent Engine. The only thing I am missing is the nozzle extension.

I would love to find one for sale or one I could make a mold from. Does anyone know of anyone who worked with these engines?

I also have some parts that look like they were used in the testing of the engine I need to ID.

I need help figuring out a company logo on Apollo Ascent Engine Nozzle (skirt). The company name on the ID tag has been tore off leaving just the last 3 letters TCO. Any help would be appreciated.

I am restoring an RS-18. I will be happy to send anyone the logo as I don't know how to put it on this post.
