The attached images show a complete group of fuel cells recently added to the collection and actual footprint as they would have been configured on the Command Service Module Sector (Bay 4) shelf. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to an anonymous Collectspace member who aided with acquisition of the two additional fuel cells necessary to complete this sub-collection.High res pics for each of the following images: http://www.spaceaholic.com/apollo_fuel_cell_full.jpg http://www.spaceaholic.com/apollo_fuel_cell_top.jpg http://www.spaceaholic.com/apollo_fuel_cell_stack.jpg ------------------ Scott Schneeweis URL http://www.SPACEAHOLIC.com/

Fun stuff! You are now ready to power up your SM, just use caution when you stir your cryo tank. |

Pratt&Whitney reports 89 delivered under the Apollo contract - by my count 51 were installed (Apollo's 1, 4,6, 7-17, ASTP, Skylab SM's and the backup CSM). That must leave a number unaccounted for (independent of Fuel Cells in museums) and possibly still circulating if not scrapped by UA upon termination of the contract.
