I've just read something to the effect that fashion designer Pierre Cardin was allowed to wear Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 moonsuit for a magazine cover in the early 1970s!!!Apart from that there's no more information...anyone know anything else about this strange one? Dom |

Thanks Mike!The gist of the thing I read was that Cardin's greatest pride in life was wearing the Apollo suit for a magazine photoshot...other than that I don't know anymore. Maybe someone might remember that particular magazine cover! Anyone? |

Jodrell Bank visitor centre had a big enlargement of that photo in their exhibition last time I visited. Maybe drop them a line?Cheers,
