IMHO, I wouldn't buy them because there's no way to prove that either of these pieces were flown. There were so many circuit boards made for the M-G-A spacecraft that were never used and scraped, that unless it comes from a source that's 110% credible, I wouldn't buy it. There are 3-4 guys on Ebay who sell authentic Apollo hardware, circuit boards and misc parts, that could easily be cut up for "flown" displays. If these people could show some proof, ok, then it's worth taking a risk, but they offer nothing but hearsay. As far as Rich's link on Ebay, the proof offered is that a guy brought in a bunch of NASA stuff, he bought it and cut it up. Ok..... if you believe in the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy, perhaps you can close your eyes real tight, click your heels 3 times and maybe your wishes will come true. | |
