After 17 years in San Jose, My wife, son and I are moving to Kansas. Sold our house a few months back. MSC313 will be on the road soon. We will be taking her through Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. My son will be riding shot gun on the capsule. Here he is in front of the house we are temporarily renting. Can you believe this house was on the market for $725,000?
Godspeed 313.

In Huntington Beach that would be called a bargain these days. Good luck with the move!

Scott,

Good luck on your next assignment.

Update on location: Capsule is near Winslow Arizona which is quite close to one of my favorite locations... Meteor Crater. The driver(who I hired through Uship.com) is having fun with all the unusual expressions he is seeing on people's faces.

Moonpaws-

I was looking around the internet to see if I could get the background on 313 but really could not find anything. I was wondering if you might share some of the details about this piece of hardware.

Good luck on the move!

Regards,

Rob

The Eagle has landed!!! Whew. I was a little worried about my questionable pallet, but it arrived safetly today in Spring Hill Kansas. My sister's neighbors I'm sure will get a kick out of seeing it in her yard.

Rob, it was great meeting you in San Antone. 313 was sitting in the junk yard of a high school in Watsonville CA. for many years. Someone told me about it after seeing my space display at the Watsonville Airshow. I have been told it was used for egress training, perhaps parachute testing as well as parasail testing. That's about all I know about it.
