Does anyone know more about the Barbados 2019 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing ball-shaped coin? One place I've found with maybe the most comprehensive info about it is from an eBay seller and they have the below all-in-one image. |

If it's 33mm diameter, weighs 1 oz and is made of silver, it seems that it must be hollow and rather thin. |

Some other links, with additional images. Does appear to be a sphere. |

I found this article, which was published on Jan. 23. And yep, it is hollow, according to their account: This new Barbados issue is quite different and thus far more affordable to the average collector. Despite reaching out to a 33mm diameter... MDM have managed to fabricate this from just one-ounce of silver. So obviously this issue is hollow, but you’d never suspect it was so from looking at the depth of the footprint struck into part of the spheres surface. |

For what its worth, Barbados also has one oz. 99.9% silver and 0.5g ("Smallest Gold Coin") 99.99% gold coins. |

Was wondering if anyone who purchased one of the spherical Barbados coins could offer a critique? I was wondering about the quality of the coin and would it be a good addition to a collection. Thanks for your help. |
