It has been stored many years with, I believe, a cotton cloth over it. When I pulled off the cotton, little tiny pieces had stuck to the medallion. Nothing damaging but just dirty looking. Is there a gentle way to clean it? I’m guessing a bronze cleaner may be too harsh?
denali414 Member Posts: 593 From: Raleigh, NC Registered: Aug 2017	posted 04-02-2019 08:01 AM Typically any cleaner will subtract from the value of a coin. If it's just the cotton, a soapy water soak should do the trick, would not use any bronze cleaner on it.
