Would you say the same of the Texas School Book Depository (now the Dallas County Administration Building) at Dealey Plaza? Or the Mission San Antonio de Valero (the Alamo) in San Antonio? Or the Wright Brothers National Memorial at Kill Devil Hills? There's not really much to any of those locations - no flashy bells and whistles to "excite" people. More of a dignified quiet than anything. Not everything in life has to be an IMAX level experience to be important or inspirational. I find it bizarre that, as a previous poster said, some tour guides on the "Then and Now" tour don't even mention [i]Hangar S[/i] and some barely speak of it. It's difficult to inspire and enthuse others if the history is not known to a guide or they don't even care. Maybe Jack King should re-educate them on its significance. Personally, [i]Hangar S[/i] would be a must-see stop on any tour, and I would be willing to pay $100 to tour that hangar and the old launch sites with Jack King. Finally, it's ironic that [i]S[/i] is the symbol for the physical quantity [i]Entropy[/i] - the irreversible transformation of state from order to disorder - which is exactly what will happen during demolition.[/B][/QUOTE]
