In honor of Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura) and the new documentary Woman In Motion, which tells the story of how Nichols used her visibility to recruit women and people of color to NASA's space program in the '70s and '80s, a few of Star Trek's leading women unite. Stars Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery), Michelle Hurd (Star Trek: Picard), Dawnn Lewis (Star Trek: Lower Decks), and Isa Briones (Star Trek: Picard) join host Mica Burton to share how Nichols inspired them personally, and the significance of the work they do in Star Trek carrying her legacy forward.
