Able and Baker: Primate Pioneers

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center's newest exhibit, "Able and Baker: Primate Pioneers," celebrates two pathfinders of human exploration.

With a special focus on Miss Baker, the squirrel monkey that spent her retirement years at the Rocket Center, the exhibit includes the Jupiter reentry capsule that Able and Baker flew in and that safely delivered them back to Earth.

Beloved by the community and a national celebrity in her day, Miss Baker received letters from school children and media attention during her many years at the Rocket Center, some of which is also on display. Come check out this tribute to these intrepid explorers!
