Blue Origin release
In 1961, Alan Shepard became the first American in space — a legacy that lives on in the name New Shepard. Yesterday (July 21), his Volkswagen Beetle found a new home at Rocket Park.

Thank you to Laura Shepard Churchley, Alan Shepard's daughter, for joining us to celebrate. We're honored to preserve this piece of history for Team Blue, guests, and future generations.
