China's Chang'e-7 mission, which was slated to launch as early as today (Sunday, Aug. 23), has been postponed to next year, the China Manned Space Engineering Office said.
Based on the principles of prudence, reliability, and ensuring absolute safety, and following a comprehensive assessment, it has been determined that the Chang'e-7 mission does not meet the conditions for launch and cannot be carried out during the scheduled launch window this year.
