Spaceflight Now: NASA created a dedicated logo to symbolize this historic achievement. The logo is visible in the cupola of the space station in this July 17, 2025, image. ...The central astronaut figure is representative of all those who have lived and worked aboard the station during the 25 years of continuous human presence.
In the dark sky of space surrounding the astronaut are 15 stars, which symbolize the 15 partner nations that support the orbiting laboratory. Is there any further information about this logo? |

NASA release (Photo: NASA/Jonny Kim) Celebrating 25 Years of Continuous Human Presence Aboard the International Space StationNASA and its partners have supported humans continuously living and working in space since November 2000. A truly global endeavor, the International Space Station has been visited by more than 280 people from 23 countries and a variety of international and commercial spacecraft. The unique microgravity laboratory has hosted more than 4,000 experiments from more than 5,000 researchers in more than 110 countries. The space station also is facilitating the growth of a commercial market in low Earth orbit for research, technology development, and crew and cargo transportation.  NASA created a dedicated logo to symbolize this historic achievement. The logo is visible in the cupola of the space station in this July 17, 2025, image. The central astronaut figure is representative of all those who have lived and worked aboard the station during the 25 years of continuous human presence. In the dark sky of space surrounding the astronaut are 15 stars, which symbolize the 15 partner nations that support the orbiting laboratory. There is a visual representation of the space station toward the edge of the design, where humans have had a continuous presence for the past 25 years. The Earth represents the planet which the station orbits and that science conducted aboard the orbiting laboratory is for the benefit of all. Integrated into the border of the design is the number "25" to further represent the 25 years of human presence aboard the space station. After 25 years of continuous human presence, the space station remains a training and proving ground for deep space missions, enabling NASA to focus on Artemis missions to the Moon and Mars. |

AB Emblem have just released the embroidered version of this 4" commemorative ISS 25 years of human presence patch. It can be bought direct from their website.- The patch design number is 477828 and is Made In China. The date code is now confirmed as 09/2545 (September 2025)
Update on 17th September 2025;
The patch I received from AB Emblem has no embedded label on it.
Update on 13th October 2025;
The message they sent me said;
"I checked with our team. The ISS 25 years (477828) batch did not come with labels on the back".  |

The patch I received today from AB Emblem has an embedded label on it: 477828
A B EMBLEM
MADE IN CHINA
09 / 2545 I believe my patch has slightly different "line colors" than the one shown by Kevin. |

I have written to AB Emblem requesting an exchange be made for the patch they sent me without a label on, for an example with a label on it. Hopefully I will receive the following;- 477828 A-B Emblem Made In China 09/2545
I have received a reply; A replacement patch with a label on it and a return shipping label have both been dispatched to me. |

On the 15th October 2025 I received from AB Emblem FedEx Express delivery the replacement ISS 25 Years of Human Presence patch with an embedded label on, which has the same details as shown above.Putting the two patches side by side, (with and without embedded labels on), they are identical in their colours, so more than likely both patches came from the same production run? |
