Based on the evidence your photos, both the helmet and suit torso are Goodrich factory made display suits. They were non functional suits made for display.

Well that's good news. I wasn't a suit expert and hadn't seen any of Ryan's at that time. I had seen many bad replicas and I thought this one was way better than what I had seen. We were all sure it wasn't flown but I seem to remember the Smithsonian saying it was likely a training suit. They were quite surprised it was in as good condition and that's why they wanted it.

Maybe someone can share what's currently on display at the Cosmosphere or what happened to this one.
