From J.L. Pickering and John Bisney, authors of The Apollo Photo Archive series:
"The Apollo Photo Archive" series comprises the most detailed pictorial record of the Apollo program ever created. Each mission, from Apollo 1 through 17, is featured in a single volume, each containing more than 500 photos and captions.

Each mission is described, from the construction of the spacecraft and assembly of the crew, through the training, rollout, preflight festivities, countdown, launch, the flight itself, splashdown, and even postflight media appearances and related activities.

The first two volumes (Apollo 1 and Apollo 7) will be released in October 2025...

Apollo 1 in Photographs
by J.L. Pickering and John Bisney, with Ed Hengeveld
The most complete pictorial record of the Apollo 1 tragedy.

The first manned mission planned for the Apollo program also produced a first tragedy: no US astronaut had previously died aboard a spacecraft. The Apollo 1 command module caught fire on the launchpad, claiming the lives of all three astronauts on board.

Apollo 7 in Photographs
by J.L. Pickering and John Bisney, with Ed Hengeveld
More than 700 images capture the history of the Apollo 7 mission, America's triumphant return to manned spaceflight.

October 11, 1968, and the launch of Apollo 7 marked NASA's first manned spaceflight after the Apollo 1 disaster of January 1967. The success of Apollo 7 helped redirect the course of the Apollo program and, therefore, space history.

Amazon informs me delivery date has changed from 28th October to 31st December.

EDIT: From private correspondence it seems it's just in the UK. I would suggest to UK potential buyers to purchase direct from the States.

Looking forward to the October release of the Apollo 1 and Apollo 7 books! Is there any idea how far apart the future releases (through Apollo 17) will be? Thank you.

Not to answer for him, but I just saw that J.L. posted an update to Facebook this evening. It doesn't address the pace of the future of the books, but...
Since I am busy working on books for the most part these days, a quick update. Our 12 book Apollo series (Myself, John Bisney and Ed Hengeveld) is on track for first release in October. The Apollo 1 book is with the printer, and Apollo 7 is right behind. The three of us are thrilled with the way the books are turning out. In the meantime, we are well into work on future volumes.

Ed Hengeveld posted on his Facebook page that there will be two books every year. He also shared the cover of the Apollo 8 book:

All times are CT (US)
