Without going too far into the negative, I'll just say that I find this patch design "basic." |

This is probably the prototype. So I would expect a few color changes. |

Perhaps not an exciting design, but I like the color scheme. |

Tim, must be me. I see very little similarity to yours. Your patches are usually better. |

If my memory is correct, I think the Expeditions 26, 27 and 28 patches each had a similar orientation and appearance of the ISS. |

Well to be fair, there are only so many tropes to select from in patches of this type: the sun, the earth, the moon, the ISS / spacecraft, etc when you're not going way into the abstract like with ISS-66, as an example. They're bound to have some similarities when they're not abstract. |

You are correct.Jorge and I designed the 26 and 27 patches concurrently. We deliberately flipped the ISS for 27 to illustrate the Southern Hemisphere and added the Southern Cross constellation. Whoever did 28 used our ISS. quote: Originally posted by BMckay: I see very little similarity to yours.
Bryan, the similarities are the position of Earth and the moon. To be clear, I’m not upset. Just surprised. |

The full color, detailed image looks far better than that patch. Even the embroidered shirts that the crew wears are better as well. Seems like that patch may be a work-in-progress, and will have a lot more stitching added to it. |

Ref: Expedition 68 Mission Overview: International Space Station Expedition 68 marks the 24th year of operation since the start of its assembly on orbit. Today, the U.S., Russia, Japan, Canada, and the European Space Agency are partnering in the operation of the largest ever orbital outpost managed by humankind. Seven sparkling stars in the vastness of space represent crewmembers and experts on the ground operating the space station. Bright sunbeams illuminate the station, a platform for scientific research, Earth and astronomical observation, education, as well as development of new technologies necessary for the exploration beyond low-Earth orbit, on the Moon and Mars. |
