Photo Gallery: NASA's Fla. visitor center clearing way for Atlantis arrival

Cranes were used on Dec. 1, 2011 to remove a full-size, 154-foot external tank test article mockup from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex as the space attraction makes way for a new exhibit featuring space shuttle Atlantis, which is currently undergoing preparations to go on public display in 2013.
