Second (M2) quick-disconnect demated Encountering only initial resistance, Doug Wheelock detached the M2 quick-disconnect ammonia line from the failed pump module that he and Tracy Caldwell Dyson are attempting to replace. The valve came free at 11:31 a.m. CDT, more than five hours into today's planned seven hour spacewalk, after the astronauts struggled and failed to free the M3 line. Flight controllers hope that by connecting the M2 and previously-freed M4-pressurization lines to a jumper box, pressure in M3 line will then lower, enabling its release.
