T O P I C R E V I E WjklierI was rectifying some aerial imagery around Hood County Texas and noticed some aircraft right next to US377 with no airport nearby. I did a little searching and found this was the Pate Museum of Transportation. I say "was" as I also found the owner had passed away and the museum closed about 3 years ago and everything was auctioned off.I found some pictures of the exhibits and this was included.Anyone know if this was just a replica and what may have happened to it? I sure would have loved to haul that home on my trailer!mikejThe Field Guide cites it as a model made by McDonnell, dating back to at least 1964.jklierI had forgotten about that website. Thanks for that. looks like they had a few other space related items.I wonder who ended up with them?
