I did a little searching and found this was the Pate Museum of Transportation. I say "was" as I also found the owner had passed away and the museum closed about 3 years ago and everything was auctioned off.<P>I found some pictures of the exhibits and <A HREF="http://blog.bestoftexas.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/pate18.jpg" TARGET=_blank>this was included</A>.<P>Anyone know if this was just a replica and what may have happened to it? I sure would have loved to haul that home on my trailer!</FONT></TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#333333"><TD valign=top><FONT SIZE="2" FACE="sans-serif">mikej</FONT></TD><TD><FONT SIZE="2" FACE="sans-serif">The <A HREF="http://americanspacecraft.com/pages/mercury/merc_pate.html" TARGET=_blank>Field Guide</A> cites it as a model made by McDonnell, dating back to at least 1964.</FONT></TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#494949"><TD valign=top><FONT SIZE="2" FACE="sans-serif">jklier</FONT></TD><TD><FONT SIZE="2" FACE="sans-serif">I had forgotten about that website.
