Robert Pearlman | Roscosmos release Soyuz MS-26 patchIntroducing the emblem of the crew of the Soyuz MS-26 manned spacecraft! Its launch is in September. Soyuz MS-26 will deliver an international crew into orbit: Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexei Ovchinin and Ivan Vagner and NASA astronaut Donald Pettit. The emblem bears the names, as well as the state flags of the countries participating in the flight: Russia and the USA. In the center are three golden human figures against a background of space, representing the crew members in the form of "космических бурлаков" ("space barge haulers") — the call sign of the mission, pulling the spaceship behind them. They symbolize the crew's team spirit and readiness to overcome any difficulties. The mission's target, the International Space Station, is visible from above. Below on the left is the blue Earth with the territory of our country. |
Russian | Last week MS-26 patches were handed to TsPK (for space suits and training suits) and to Kentavr for onboard suits. |
Russian | MS-26 patch on training suit: |
Russian | MS-26 logo is in the plane according to the tradition.

Paul J. Brennan | Does anyone have an update on whether or not we'll see this mission patch released to the public anytime in the near future? |
KAPTEC | Neither patch nor lapel pin... Only if you live in Russia. Glavstore will only have them for sale locally. |
Paul J. Brennan | Yes, but I know we have one or more members who could purchase them for resale to everyone else outside of Russia. Haven't seen any new patches listed on Glavkosmos store for over a year. I wonder if they will ever be produced in larger quantities.... |
Russian | Here is a photo of the MS-26 decal, the same as in the plane of TsPK. |
Russian | MS-26 patches (main crew and backups) are now in Glavkosmos’s internet shop. |
KAPTEC | Only to pick up in the store... At Moscow. 😢 |
Russian | You are right, Jorge! I did it, with my brother’s help. But I feel somebody (as usual) will propose them to collectors on eBay. |
Paul J. Brennan | Thank you for the update Victor (Russian). |
Robert Pearlman | Is there a landing version of the Soyuz MS-26 patch or is none necessary, given it is the same crew who launched? |
Russian | No landing version of the MS-26 patch. The crew is the same. |
