spaceman | The latest issue of the ESA Bulletin arrived yesterday and it included a poster depicting all of the European manned space mission patches. The earliest being Soyuz 28 in 1978 through the 2009 ESA OasISS mission. Editor's note: See below for where to download a PDF of the poster from ESA. |
cspg | Issue arrived today (12/4). The same "poster" with pins, framed much like the Apollo 11 40th anniversary frame set by Winco, would be cool! |
Philip | A few years ago the magazine included a poster with the portraits of all European astronaut and cosmonauts since Sigmund Jahn... |
Spacemac | How does one get on the list for the ESA newsletter? |
cspg | If you're referring to ESA bulletin, it's available in electronic form. For the paper copy, I think I did subscribe by email, so you might want to try emailing them (esapub at esa.int). |
Apollo-Soyuz | I received an email from ESA about the poster. If you send them your mailing address with your request, they will send you a copy of the poster. |
Jacques van Oene | The poster can be downloaded (PDF) from the European Space Agency's website. |
KAPTEC | I made most of the reproduction pics for the poster (as Jacques can confirm). If you are interested in get them in a best file (.png), and sometimes bigger, please email me. |
randy | I finally got my November ESA Bulletin today. Merry Christmas from the ESA! The poster is very cool! There has been a lot more ESA missions than I thought. |
Philip | ESA bulletin February 2010 has a nice page on the history of the ESA logo on page 52. |
carl walker | ESA's European human spaceflight patches poster is updated for missions to this year, you can download pdf here. |
spaceman | Nice upgrade Carl. With the increased European space presence we'll be needing a second poster at this rate soon, which can't be a bad thing at all. Exciting times ahead. Will there be a paper copy in the ESA Bulletin at some point? |
