T O P I C R E V I E WmjanovecDoes anyone have a link or a resource showing clear maps of the Apollo EVAs, with prominent features shown (sizeable craters, mountain, rilles, etc.)? Obviously, this would most likely apply to Apollo 15, 16, and 17...but a map of the Apollo 14 hunt for Cone Crater would be nice too.I did some searching around at the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal site and didn't find maps...but maybe I just looked in the wrong spot.Note: I do have the Spacecraft Films sets for Apollo 15 and 16 that show animation maps of the EVAs, but I'm looking for a "still" map that would allow me to see the area all at once.Any help would be most appreciated!Michael CassuttI don't have any help to offer on this question, unfortunately, but had to say hello to another poster from my hometown! Was just in Hudtown three weeks ago!Michael Cassutt, HHS '72ObviousmanIf you have a look at the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal, you'll find most of them there.A tremendous resource.spacesurgeonThere are some maps at the NASM site, specifically at: http://www.nasm.si.edu/collections/imagery/apollo/landsites.htm The Publication 'APOLLO:The Epic Journey to the Moon' by David reynolds has map representation of EVA for A17 (page 193), A15 (page 173).nasamad Go back to the Lunar Surface Journal, click "image library" then select the mission you would like to look at. The first section of each image library is the Landing Site images, these contain the traverse maps you are looking for.AdammjanovecThanks everyone...I found what I needed!
