T O P I C R E V I E WdomThose of us lucky enough to have attended Neil Armstrong's "Face-to-Face" interview with Gay Byrne in Dublin in 2003 will be saddened to learn the Irish broadcaster passed away today aged 85. It is no exaggeration to say Byrne was Ireland's "Walter Cronkite father figure" and showed his skills that night getting stories out of the reluctant astronaut. RIPrandy.Kite .Kevin T.
