As you can see with the advanced level of training provided to our astronauts the hull breach was repaired at record speed. Can not help the poor kitty.

Neat backstory: While preparing this skit for the broadcast, SNL's production and costume crews contacted TheSpaceStore.com and purchased six flight suits and 40 patches, which were sewn onto the suits by SNL's costume unit.

The flight suits worn by host Steve Carell and cast during the scene's broadcast represented the final product of this awesome collaboration.
