Jurg BolliThat is funny!
bklyn55Sad to see what one of America's icons has become!
Robert PearlmanIf you're not familiar with Colbert's style of comedy, I can see how this might come off as denigrating. But from what I can tell, it is meant as a means of celebrating the Apollo program and Aldrin's role in it.
mercsimI don't see it as sad. I see a great American hero having a bit of fun and, as Robert says, celebrating the accomplishment. He holds a PhD and is one of the great engineers/scientists of our time. And he is a regular guy.

Well done. You go Buzz!

fredtravI thought it was very funny and is definitely Colbert's shtick.
MCroft04Agree; Buzz is a great American icon just having some fun. What's wrong with that? He earned his place in history and has the right to enjoy his life the way he wants to.
AstronautBrianI thought it was funny...tannnggggg
WehaveliftoffNot rehearsed enough, but why again no mention of Michael Collins?

The cheap neon lights available in many electronics selling stores looked good on his shirt with the black light.

Yes, Stephen Colbert's style of humor is not for everyone, that's why it is on very late.
