Neste Oil has launched a new advertising campaign in Finland today, 16 August, around the theme: 'The only way is forward'. The campaign focuses on Neste Oil's pioneering spirit and commitment to opening up new vistas, something that those within the company have long believed in and which Neste Oil wants to highlight to the rest of the world.
Neste Oil's only direction is very much forward, as the campaign's theme makes clear. The work that Neste Oil has done, and is continuing to do, on behalf of cleaner traffic and transport is aimed at making it easier for people to enjoy being on the move, not only today, but more importantly in the future as well.
"Getting around and transport are essential parts of our life today and fundamental to modern society," says Sirpa Tuomi, Neste Oil's Marketing Director. "This is why we believe that these areas need to be continually developed — by boldly investigating new ideas and developing cleaner fuels that will keep us on the move while minimizing the impact they have on the environment."
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man to step on the moon after Neil Armstrong in 1969, is featured in the campaign video highlighting the pioneering contribution that Neste Oil has made.
"Buzz is the perfect person to tell our story," says Sirpa Tuomi, "as the first manned lunar landing called for unparalleled courage and truly made history. In the words of Neil Armstrong, it was one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
