T O P I C R E V I E WRobert PearlmanThe crew of the final space space shuttle mission, Chris Ferguson, Doug Hurley, Sandy Magnus and Rex Walheim visited the set of the popular CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory on Tuesday, Aug. 24. Joining us in our studio audience tonight will be the crew of STS-135, the last space shuttle mission. Astronauts. We are geeking out. The crew presented series co-creators and executive producers Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady with flags flown on space shuttle Atlantis. In return, the producers presented the astronauts with a special gift. The crew of STS-135 were the first recipients of The Big Bang Theory executive producer's challenge coin. Before leaving, the astronauts posed for a photo on the set of Leonard Hofstadter's and Sheldon Cooper's apartment with Lorre and Prady, as well as show stars Mayim Bialik, Kunal Nayyar, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Simon Helberg (who plays Howard Wolowitz, an aerospace engineer whose projects have been launched to the International Space Station).Robert PearlmanPhoto Credit: Warner Bros.
