T O P I C R E V I E WbsbendeleAir and Space History Buffs check this out! These commemorative plaques were given as favors at the 50th anniversary celebration of Apollo 10 held at the Stafford Air and Space Museum. 250 were made and signed by General Stafford himself. This particular plaque is one of 12 that has a piece of the spacecraft's outer layer of the thermal blanket coated with 22-karot gold. This would make a great addition to your collection. Auction Ends December 13th. All proceeds go to benefit the Lions Meadow of Hope Foster Care Program in Oklahoma. Thank you for your support.Larry McGlynnI have one of these presentations from the event at the Stafford Air & Space Museum. It was one of the more unique gifts that I have received at these types of events. It is well worth a bid. It helps a good cause and is a great piece of history. Cozmosis22This auction looks like a very nice display piece which is closing today; and yes the proceeds do appear to go to a worthy cause.bsbendeleThank you for all the kind words and your support. The auction will be closing this evening so be sure to get your bids in.Thank you again!
