T O P I C R E V I E WdomLooking for a 1960s Precise Model's Lunar Module at a reasonable price. Please email me with details if you have one for sale. Thanks.Rick MulheirnSadly Dom, I don't have one I'm willing to sell but I have be scouring the usual places trying to locate one for you and there appears to be nothing out there at the moment. Like buses, eBay can be quiet for ages but then two pop up out of the blue. I'll continue to keep my eye out but it is worth noting that condition and price are typically linked: the better the condition the higher the price. "Reasonably priced" examples usually need attention... and spare parts! domBrilliant Rick, much appreciated! Not looking for museum quality but something that's still nice to display. A few missing parts not an issue. If anyone spots anything - I'd appreciate a tip off. Rick MulheirnFor what it's worth, replacement RCS thusters and rendezvous dishes can be bought as new old stock (nos) from Mark Johnson at Precise models. Mark is a great guy to deal with and with luck it should be possible to find a "pigs ear" and turn it in to a "silk purse".Reasonable nos replacement decals are currently listed on eBay. Might be worth picking some up and having them in stock, just in case.Chuckster01I will second that Mark is a great guy and provided me with all of the missing "original" parts for my LM model. stsmithvaI'll third the recommendation for replacement new old stock from Precise. I got some thrusters and antennae a year ago that weren't cheap, but with them and an hour of work my LM model looked so good.domFinally managed to obtain a nice LEM model - which I'm restoring with original old stock from Precise - but unfortunately I'm missing the original plastic base. Does anyone have a spare - maybe a leftover from their own restoration project - that they're willing to part with?
